past couple of years composed of multiple Celebration Centres (Campuses) and diverse
Community care initiatives that include; Child Care, Community and Neighborhood, Education and FM Radio amongst others. In all of this, Watoto remains a local church, committed to celebrating Christ and caring for community.
Watoto Christian Hall is seeking to recruit an Administrative and Finance Officer to provide support to all facets of the Watoto Christian Halls to ensure efficiency, sustainability and accountability to all and from all stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
• To consolidate and prepare timely accurate financial reports in line with partner guidelines and policies and procedures for the director, partners & advisory council.
• To liaise between One Hope and Watoto Ministries finance departments regarding funds
received and prepare or make presentations on Finance and Administration related matters in meetings.
• To coordinate the management of all finance related documents, maintain records and
provide financial status updates to relevant stakeholders whenever required.
• To review various financial budgeting and reporting documents to ensure they are in line with approved budget submitted to relevant stakeholders.
• To review and disseminate updates in the Finance Policy Manual from the partners and key stakeholders to the department.
• To ensure procurement payments are completed, documented and accounted for on the
church system and manage logistics for all events.
• To ensure the student payments systems are efficient and aligned to collections targets.
• To oversee office supplies and inventory by ensuring supplies to the office are managed and maintained.
• To administer and reconcile petty cash and follow up on any implementation of audit
recommendations.
• To follow-up and implement key actions agreed on issues affecting the finance and
administration function.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience.
• The applicant for the role should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Commerce,
Accounting and Finance or a related and relevant field.
• The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of at least 2 years working experience in Accounting and Finance within a large, active and vibrant organisation.
• Must have a high level of confidence, a positive attitude and a team player.
• Must have a high degree of integrity and good work ethic.
• Attention to detail to be able to scrutinize financial documents before decision making.
