Job Title: Brand Manager

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Job summary:

This position will be responsible for overseeing the assigned brand activity from a strategic point of view through planning, execution of events, innovation of the brand, brand people management, profiling existing products and monitoring as well as liaising with the sales department so as to drive brand revenue and measure return on investments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

a) Contribute to revenue generation as per set targets through branding activities, price,
value and quality alignment and field supervision to ensure the brand remains profitable;

b) Drive brand awareness by planning for advertisements and managing media
relationships in liaison with the public relations manager to create and expand
awareness for the brand;

c) Conduct training needs assessment of the brand team and provide or organize
provisions of training to ensure that they are well equipped with pre-requisite skills;

d) Lead marketing campaigns such as sponsorships, salon demonstrations, market
activations, brand endorsements and salon seminars to ensure successful
implementation and achievement of campaign objectives;

e) Manage and motivate the brand team by informing them of set strategies and policies,
deployment management and conducting appraisals to ensure they support the brand’s
operations and processes;

f) Carry out succession planning through delegation of roles to junior staff to ensure
adequate staffing to support operations;

g) Manage the brand portfolio to track revenue growth and enable brand equity through
strategic alliances with luminaries;

h) Drive brand visibility through indoor and outdoor advertisements, promotional
outsourcing and experiential marketing to facilitate brand positioning;

i) Implement new ideas in the market through guidance of the brand manual to ensure the brand remains competitive amongst market peers.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

a) A bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
b) 6 years’ experience in marketing
