Role Summary

The Lead, Business Strategy & Development (LBSD) is the first point of contact a new potential client will have with Fine Media Ltd when they are seeking information on the products and services the company provides. The LBSD also responds to requests for proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), tenders, and develops sales in new sales territories. At Fine Media Limited the LBSD is a senior role, and as such has some important duties and responsibilities to fulfil, with both short and long-term goals to achieve.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Have a good understanding of the business’ products or services and be able to advise others about them.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation, generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
  • Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Follow through with drawing up client contracts with the legal team.
  • Help to plan sales campaigns and create a sales pipeline
  • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors

 

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in any business-related field.

Experience in Sales, Marketing, Client Service, Customer Support or any other related operation of not under 3 years.
