Marketing & Customer Insights Manager

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competentskilled, and experienced Marketing & Customer Insights Manager to work in Kampala.

 Key Roles and responsibilities

  • Developing insights on who our Customers are across all our business channels and develop an in-depth understanding of their behavior by category, by purchase frequency, by seasons of the year.
  • Conducting weekly analytics on new Customer to understand new Customer behavior and retention, leading to informed and relevant Marketing interventions.
  • Weekly analytics of existing Customers to understand Category behavior in order to generate insights to inform the Marketing strategy and execution plans.
  • Working with the Customer Insights Manager, review and execute an end-to-end Customer retention program to drive up Customers per Agent (CPA), overall customer retention and revenue. Regularly analyze and measure/trend the effectiveness of the Customer Retention programs.
  • Sharing insights/improvements/learnings from the analyzed Customer Retention and Referral programs to be implemented/actioned with clear timelines.
  • Defining and developing a Customer Centric program for Marketing that is measurable.
  • Developing Marketing programs based on Customer insights to grow overall Customer numbers for the business.
  • Working with our Analytics team to create effective tracking reports used to monitor and evaluate executed programs or promotions

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or another relevant field preferred with Analytics.
  • 5-8 years previous experience in Customer Marketing that is designed to drive sales.
  • You have superior computer skills, including strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • You live for data driven decisions and are fanatical about measuring everything.
  • You have experience in managing Marketing programs to drive customer retention, penetration and loyalty.
  • You have experience across a broad range of Marketing specialties.
  • You have retail or E-Commerce experience would be advantageous disciplines.
  • You show ownership of roles and ability to run with programs from end to end without constant supervision.
  • You are a multi-tasker. Able to work on various projects at the same time to completion.
  • Results-oriented.
  • You are adaptable to new tasks as per Business requirements.
  • You have good communication skills and have the ability to communicate clearly and directly including all relevant information.
  • You have attention to detail.
  • You have good analytical skills and ability to derive insights to drive business programs.
  • You are self-motivated, passionate and able to challenge how things are done to drive efficiencies and/or impact in the interest of the business.
