Job Purpose
The overall purpose of the position is to provide technical support to the project team in management of MHPSS while providing pharmacology treatment and management to beneficiaries during the project implementation, support training programmes for the project implementation team on MHPSS assessments and management, responsible for dispensing drugs, and advise on drugs to be procured in accordance to need. The position will be a field based and an integral part of project delivery unit, providing overall monitoring and pharmacological treatment during the project implementation.
Responsibilities Related to project implementation.
The Psychiatric Clinical Officers will work alongside the Clinical Psychologists to provide specialized MHPSS services including pharmacological treatment for severe MHPSS cases, they will support to conduct mobile mental health outreaches clinics, while working with the established health centres and hospitals within the project cope/locations.

Degree/diploma in Clinical Psychiatry, Knowledge in therapeutic remedies, making mental health assessments and diagnosis, IASC guidelines; advocacy theories and principles; and Excellent organization and coordination skills, must be result-oriented and Working experience in the civil society sector with at least practicing experiences.
