Job Title: Security Guards (02)
Reports to: School Administrator
Location: Guluddene, Gayaza Campus
Job Summary:
Ensure maximum security of the School premises, assets, students and staff in a safe and secure environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide security and safety of staff, students and visitors/ clients at all times
- Ensure that the School’s assets, premises and property are safe at all times
- Man the School gates and control entry and exit of traffic
- Ensure surveillance of the School premises while on duty
- Mount proper security checks of staff, students and visitors at all entrances
- Stop and prevent any criminal activities taking place within the Institute School premises
- Enforce student’s exit and entry time, dress code, and other protocols as advised by management from time to time
- In liaison with the Accounts Team, participate in monitoring and enforcing student’s clearance protocols as guided by Management
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the relevant authority.
Qualifications and Experience:
- “O” Level Certificate (UCE)
- Satisfactory completion of an approved Security Guard Training course
- At least one years’ experience in a similar role
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours including weekends
- Good communication skills and ability to speak, read and write English and follow both written and oral instructions
- Proficiency in Luganda and Swahili an added advantage
- Good customer care skills
