What to Expect at a Recruitment Event

The recruitment process for Qatar Airways is thorough and designed to identify the best talent. For Cabin Crew, a typical recruitment event (especially walk-in days) often involves several stages:

  1. CV Drop: Submit your updated CV (in English) along with other required documents (passport copy, high school certificate copy, passport-sized photographs). Be sure to include your applicant ID if you’ve applied online.
  2. Company Presentation & English Test: Learn more about Qatar Airways and its expectations, followed by a written English proficiency test.
  3. Spontaneity Test / Group Discussion: This assesses your communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a group setting.
  4. Reach Test & Grooming Check: For Cabin Crew, a minimum arm reach of 212 cm (on tiptoes, without shoes for females) is a mandatory requirement. Recruiters will also check for visible tattoos, scars, or marks.
  5. Final Interview: This is a crucial one-on-one discussion with a recruiter where you’ll be asked about your motivations, experience, and suitability for the role.

Important Note: While some events are “walk-in,” it’s highly recommended to apply online beforehand on the Qatar Airways careers portal. This often allows you to receive an applicant ID and potentially a personalized invitation, making the process smoother on the day.
