Geographic Focus

This call is open to professionals based in or with significant experience in:

• Kenya

• Nigeria

• Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

• Zambia

• Other countries across Sub-Saharan Africa are strongly encouraged to apply.

ANFCA seeks to establish a diverse roster of national and regional experts who can adapt climate and development solutions to local realities.

Areas of Expertise

We are looking for professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Agriculture & Food Systems

• Public Health & the Climate–Health Nexus

• GIS & Geospatial Analytics

• Strategic Communications & Public Engagement

• Policy Strategy & Climate Advocacy

• Business Development & Partnerships

• Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)

A holistic, multi-sectoral approach is at the heart of ANFCA programming, ensuring evidence-based impact and cross-cutting collaboration.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Applicants should bring:

• 5+ years of professional experience in a relevant sector.

• A proven commitment to Africa’s development and climate agenda.

• Experience working in multicultural, multi-disciplinary teams.

• Strong knowledge of national, regional, and global climate policies.

• A track record of leading or contributing to projects, research, advocacy, or evaluations.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Consulting engagements may be short-term, project-based, or retainer-based, depending on ANFCA’s needs.
