Open Positions
The two open positions are:
- Chief People & Culture, based in Nairobi, Kenya
- Communications Officer – Digital, based in Nairobi, Kenya
Chief People & Culture: This senior leadership role is crucial for shaping AGRA’s organizational culture, capabilities, and people systems. The successful candidate will serve as a thought partner to the President and Executive Committee, focusing on aligning organizational design with strategic objectives, ensuring accountability, and fostering a values-driven culture. This role extends beyond traditional HR, encompassing employee experience, engagement, compliance, governance, and the digital transformation of HR operations. Applicants should possess significant experience in strategic HR leadership, particularly in transformation mandates within multi-stakeholder or international organizations, and a deep understanding of African labor markets.
Communications Officer – Digital: This position falls under AGRA’s Strategic Communications function. The Communications Officer – Digital will be instrumental in executing brand, business lines, and platform activities, aiming to achieve favorable stakeholder experiences and engagement. Key responsibilities include enhancing brand identity through digital channels, developing core brand messages, and leveraging key stakeholders for broader reach and influence. Candidates for this role should have a strong background in digital communications and a passion for telling the story of agricultural transformation in Africa.
