Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the WIPO YEP 2026-2027, applicants must meet specific criteria:

  • Availability: Applicants must be available for the entire 24-month duration of the program, from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2028
  • Education: A first-level university degree is required
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is necessary
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills are essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory
  •  Knowledge of other UN languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge/Experience: Knowledge of, or experience in, IP, innovation, or creativity is preferred
