About This Job:

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competentskilled, and experienced Accountant to work in Kampala.

Job Purpose:

This position is majorly responsible for EFRIS management and reconciliation of company ERP information with EFRIS.

Key Roles and responsibilities

  • Raise sales invoices on the EFRIS system ensuring accuracy and completeness of revenue and the availability of stock on the EFRIS before invoicing to avoid keeping negative inventory situation.
  • Daily inspect the sales invoices files and ensure all invoices raised on the company ERPs are also recorded on EFRIS (every system invoice on the sales file other than internal and warranty invoices should have a corresponding invoice raised on EFRIS on the sales file).
  • Ensure all customers leave the Aftersales counters with an EFRIS invoices.
  • Perform reconciliation of the sales, VAT and stock figures between company ERP and the EFRIS system for all the businesses i.e. Auto, Aftersales, HCD, Agro and ICT. Investigate and address any differences and where need be bring to the attention of Manager Accounts any unresolved differences.
  • Monitor stock levels on the EFRIS and inform all business heads/concerned individuals whenever the reorder levels are reached so that stocking in can be done.
  • Review stock costs between the company ERP and the EFRIS for all the businesses and ensure there are no variations. Any identified differences should be reported to the business heads and escalation made to Manager Accounts.
  • On a weekly basis, share reconciled sales, VAT and stock reports from both the company’s ERPs and the EFRIS.
  • Perform any other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Department

Qualifications and experience

  • Finance Graduate with a professional course most preferably ACCA
  • Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Understanding of retail finance and basic accounting
  • Must have experience in bookkeeping and data management.
  • Must have extra-ordinary analytical and conceptualization skills.
  • Must be self-driven requiring very minimum supervision.
