Job Purpose
Assist in implementing examination processes in Library and Records Management.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintain an efficient filing system associated with all aspects of examinations;
2. Assist the IT department with data inputting as required;
3. Check all examination fees and charges for each examination period;
4. Assist in the distribution of examination results and dealing with queries arising
from results;
5. Distribute necessary stationery and materials related to the smooth running of the
examination;
6. Checking examination entries;
7. Checking statistical data related to all entries and the analysis of results;
8. Responsible for secure storage of examination papers/stationery;
9. Participate in typesetting examination items;
10.Receive and record continuous assessment marks;
11.Preparing and checking student examination fees for each examination period;
12.Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Working Experience
a) An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science or Records
Management from a recognized institution;
b) A Diploma in Records Management or Library & Information Science from a
recognised institution;
c) A Teaching qualification is an added advantage;
d) A Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in teaching or world of work;
e) 20 – 40 years of age at entry.
