Job Purpose
Assist in implementing examination processes in Social Sciences
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintain an efficient filing system associated with all aspects of examinations;
2. Assist the IT department with data inputting as required;
3. Check all examination fees and charges for each examination period;
4. Assist in the distribution of examination results and dealing with queries arising from
results;
5. Distribute necessary stationery and materials related to the smooth running of the
examination;
6. Checking examination entries;
7. Checking statistical data related to all entries and the analysis of results;
8. Responsible for secure storage of examination papers/stationery;
9. Participate in typesetting examination items;
10.Receive and record continuous assessment marks;
11.Preparing and checking student examination fees for each examination period;
12.Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Working Experience
a) An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Social Work and Social
Administration or Business Studies or Community Development or Adult
Education from a recognized institution;
b) A Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration or Community
Development or Adult Education from a recognized institution is an added
advantage;
c) A Minimum of one (1) year experience in teaching or world of work.
d) 20 – 40 years of age at entry.
