Direct supervisor: Head chef

Coordinates closely with stores, procurement, QC, and Maintenance

PROFILE:

  • Previous experience in the catering/hospitality industry with a minimum of two years
  • Previous experience in menu designing
  • Good communications
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Customer-oriented

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures that HACCP, SOPS, food safety, and hygiene requirements throughout the kitchen are maintained
  • Ensures that menu specifications are adhered to on daily basis as per customer’s requirements, any deviations to be reported immediately to the Executive Chef, for rectification
  • Liaises with stores department and ensures that missing items are replaced in time.
  • Communicates to maintenance personnel in case of any need to service machines or machine breakdown
  • Attends to incoming orders.
