WHAT YOU WOULD DO

We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail. As our Communications & Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the business and admin teams, under the direct supervision and in close partnership with the Communications & Marketing Lead. Ultimately, your primary objective will be to ensure clear communication of our message across multiple channels. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Help execute on Laboremus’s marketing and communications plan
  • Produce or copy edit marketing collateral, including proposals, sales presentations and press releases
  • Create and post social media content on various platforms
  • Build Laboremus’s reputation and visibility with press, newsletters and thought leadership, in close cooperation with the rest of the team
  • Handle communication with industry partners, potential partners and other key stakeholders
  • Be responsible for understanding Laboremus’ business model and products and how to best translate these to customers
  • Host internal and external events in close collaboration with the rest of the team
  • Conduct market research
  • Assist with other administrative tasks

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an organized person who is able to get things done. You have the ambition and potential to grow. In a perfect world you bring the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of marketing experience (could be part-time)
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Superb multi-tasking skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and sees opportunities
  • Tech-savviness, with an interest in and/or knowledge of tech
  • Ability to research and design marketing strategies and execute on them
  • Experience with using graphic design programs like Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with photography
