Post:  Drivers – Pickups 

No. of Vacancies: Thirty (30) Vacancies 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Drive the allocated vehicles to approved destinations. 
  2. Endeavour to detect mechanical faults and immediately report to the designated Officer for appropriate action.
  3. Prepare fuel requisitions in time and ensure that fuel consumption is in line with the approved mileage and records.
  4. Record vehicle movements and usage systemically in the provided log sheets.
  5. Keep the allocated vehicle clean, inter alia, in order to uphold the image of the Company.
  6. Monitor the timing for the servicing and periodic prevalence maintenance and draw the attention of the officer in charge of transport for action.
  7. Report all incidents, minor or major, to the Officer in charge transport, and to the police as may be necessary.

 

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

 

  1. Ordinary Level (“O Level” Certificate of Education from a recognized Institution.
  2. Evidence knowledge and skills in driving manual pickup trucks, 
  3. A clean driving record and a valid driving License of Classes B, as a minimum.
  4. Five (5) years’ experience in driving manual transmission vehicles
