Report to: Maintenance Manager

Area of specialization: To carry out preventive and corrective works on the electrical plant

Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

Diploma in Electrical Engineering with an Installation license from Electricity Regulatory
Authority (ERA)-Uganda

Experience:

3 years working experience in power plant operation

Competencies

• He should be knowledgeable in generation, transmission, and distribution environment,
power transformers, high voltage circuit breakers, control and instrumentation systems,
protection systems, generators, and PLCs.

Skill

The under listed are the relevant skill/work experience components in terms of practical and work experience relating to the key performance indicators (KPAs).

• Must be able to make Electrical engineering drawings and sketches
• Good at quick trouble shooting
• Must be able to work under pressure

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
o Comfortable working with basic computers software excels. Word, power point. Microsoft projects, Micro-soft Visio etc
