Reports: Reports to Nursing Officer (Midwifery)
Purpose: To provide day to day Midwifery Nursing care services to patients
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Receiving patients, registering admissions, discharge and deaths
- Providing care during labour with emphasis on prevention of infection
- Sensitising mothers about the benefit of breast feeding and recommended diet
- Observing and compiling daily ward reports for attention of the relevant authorities
- Carrying out Antenatal care
