Job Description:

ACE Energy Solutions (U) Ltd. (ACE) needs a diligent and enthusiastic Factory Operator to work closely with the factory team and under the supervision of the Production Supervisor in Barogal, Nwoya District, Uganda.

ACE requires a motivated, ambitious, and fast learner, an individual who is proactive and flexible in a variety of tasks, and functions they will perform.

Key Activities:

  • Operate machinery safely, while achieving efficient production
  • Follow all factory safety and general operations procedures, policies and SOPs
  • Evaluate current processes and develop innovative solutions to improve quality and efficient production
  • Identify and report unsafe operations immediately to your line supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
  • Help load and unload materials and finished goods
  • Maintain a critical eye for quality work and production
  • Work pleasantly and respectfully with all other team members
  • Assist with training development and presentation
  • Assist with any task deemed necessary by the Production Supervisor, Factory and Supply Chain Manager, Operations Director and/or Regional Director

Qualifications and Experience:

You may also like : 
  • A relevant degree or at least 3 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, production or a similar relevant field
  • Proficiency in English and good communication skills
  • 26-35 years of age
  • Basic understanding of machinery and electronics
  • Positive attitude, self-driven individual
  • Ability to handle long hours on their feet
