Reports to: Employee Relations & Services Delivery Manager

Job description:

Overall purpose of the job.

Supports our employees while conforming to labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

• Providing counselling on policies and procedures
• Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

• Create and implement effective on boarding plans.
• Liaise with L& D to develop training and development programs.
• Assist in performance management processes
• Support the management of welfare issues
• Maintain employee records (attendance, leave etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
• Ensure legal compliance to employment terms and conditions.

Requirements

Knowledge, qualifications & Experience

Education:

• BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
• HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certifi cation Institute)

Experience, Skills and Competences:

• Committed and approachable individual
• Proven experience as HR officer, or other HR position
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/HCM is a plus
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
• Strong ethics and reliability
