JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES  AND  RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Provide  infrastructural  support  for  efficient  functioning  of  Pride  ICT  system.

•Evaluate  the  organization’s  technology  use  and  needs  and  recommend  necessary  improvements  or  upgrades.
•Assist  with  the  planning  and  deployment  of  infrastructure  security  measures.
•Develop,  implement  and  maintain  policies,  procedures  and  associated  training  plans  for  infrastructure  administration  and  project  management.

2.Implement  priorities  for  the  design,  maintenance,  development  and  evaluation  of  all  infrastructure  systems,  including  LANs,  WANs,  Internet,  Intranet,  Security,  wireless  implementation.

•Conduct  feasibility  studies  for  various  upgrade  projects,  improvements  and  other  conversions.
•Establish  service  level  agreements  with  business  units
•Schedule  and  direct  activities  to  resolve  hardware  and  software  problems.

3.Ensure  business  continuity  and  disaster  recovery  for  business  systems  by  maintaining  a  secure  BCP/DR  site.

•Participate  in  management  committees  and  meeting  for  strategic  planning  and  ICT  guidance.
•Develop  and  implement  business  plans,  goals  and  budget  for  ICT  functions.
•Define  hardware  and  software  standards.

4.Prepare  proper  documentation  for  infrastructure  projects  and  negotiate  with  vendors,  outsourcers  and  contractors.

•Prepare  RFPs,  bid  proposals,  contracts,  scope  of  work  reports  and  other  documentation  for  infrastructure  projects  and  associated  efforts.
•Negotiate  with  vendors,  outsourcers  and  contractors  to  secure  infrastructure  specific  products  and  services.
•Review  service  desk  tickets  and  reports  to  track  ticket  status.

5.Lead  and  manage  the  performance  and  development  of  all  subordinate  staff.

•Participate  in  recruitment  and  selection  of  staff.

•Identify  skill  and  competency  gaps  and  recommend  appropriate  training  and  development.

•Carry  out  periodic  performance  appraisals.

Should  be  a  good  communicator  with  good  analytical,  administration,  multi-tasking,  reporting  and  interpersonal  skills.

Should  be  mature,  intelligent,  diligent,  with  strong  work  ethics,  integrity  and  able  to  work  under  pressure  to  meet  strict  deadlines.

Should  be  an  outstanding  leader  and  change  agent  with  the  business  acumen  and  the  ability  to  foster  a  productive  working  environment.

He/she  should  not  be  more  than  40  years  of  age.

Minimum  Academic  qualifications  and  experience:

•Bachelor’s  degree  in  Information  Technology,  Computer  Science  or  related  field.
•Good  grades  in  Mathematics  at  A’  level  (Either  A,  B  or  C).
•Microsoft  Certified  Professional  (MCTP)  and  Cisco  Certified  Networking  Associate  (CCNA).
•Should  have  a  minimum  of  four  (4)  year’s  working  experience  in  a  related  field  in  a  busy  ICT  environment,  preferably  a  banking  industry.
•2  principle  passes  at  A’  Level.
•Credit  passes  in  English  and  Mathematics  at  O’  Level.
•Having  an  ITIL  V3  Foundation  Level  will  be  an  added  advantage.
