ICCO is an independent non-governmental organization with business features and data-driven interventions. Our aim is to leverage data in securing the livelihoods and rights of farmers and small businesses in low and middle-income countries. ICCO has a decentralized organizational structure in 5 regions in Africa, Asia and Latin America with (sub)regional offices. We are present in 25 countries and run programs in 76 countries. ICCO as part of the ACT has been active in Uganda for 30 years in both humanitarian and development sectors responding to the refugee crisis and supporting local communities in rural areas. In Uganda, ICCO together with Cordaid are implementing data-driven programmes in disaster risk management (DRM), sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), Performance-Based Financing (PBF), health, agriculture and agribusiness, and youth entrepreneurship. These programmes aim to build the resilience of rural households to withstand the shock.
