Local Governance Managers ( 2 Positions) – TETRA TECH International Services

TETRA TECH International Services (http://www.tetratechintdev.com) is recruiting highly
qualified candidates for the USAID-funded Uganda Strengthening Systems and Public
Accountability (SSPA) program. The project aims to strengthen public sector leadership and accountability for results in target sectors, support citizen and civil society engagement on corruption, and support the rewards and sanctions standards under the Ministry of Public Service while changing the norms and behaviors that enable abuse of public office for private gain. We are looking for two Local Governance Managers.

Applicants with previous USAID experience are encouraged to apply.

Two Local Governance Managers – Strengthening Systems and Public Accountability Activity (SSPA)

Location: Arua and Hoima

Experience: Must have at least 6 years’ relevant technical experience managing activities aimed at improving local government systems and practices·

Skills: Must have strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team and be computer literate. Working knowledge of English, both written and spoken required. Able to communicate fluently and effectively both verbally and in writing. Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team. Must also be able to create a supportive working relationship among all project teams and partners. Including government officials, NGOs and the private sector.
