Job Title: MANAGER, IT RISK
Reporting to: HEAD OF RISK
Job Summary
Manage the delivery of the Information Technology risk management framework, and independent IT risk assessment and reporting as per the Bank’s policy and regulatory guidelines

• Conduct information system risk assessments for new and existing systems, applications and programs to ensure compliance with the bank’s security policies, regulatory requirements and adherence to best practices.
• Perform periodic and surprise security assessments of areas such as operating systems, database management systems, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and web based applications.
• Identify and evaluate business technology risks and internal control mitigants of risks,
and related opportunities for internal control improvement and propose risk treatment
plans.
• Monitor and track IT risk events and follow up associated actions plans to closure.
• Identify and analyse emerging IT risks.
Minimum Education Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Possesses one or more of the following certifications: Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other
related certification
Work experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in information systems within governance, IT Risk
Management or IT Audit.
Key required skills
• Demonstrates proven success in a role that emphasizes the following: IT Risk Management and Governance.
• Demonstrates domain knowledge of IT infrastructure, application development /
SDLC and / or information security
• Strong project management skills.
• Detail oriented and great communication skills
