Motivation is seeking a full time Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Officer in Uganda. This role will focus on a new project that increases participation of children with disabilities in primary education. It is vital for enabling the project to achieve and report on the results of this project, which is funded by UK aid from the UK government.
Working with partners and the wider project team, the MEL officer will take a lead on the implementation and review of the MEL plan and Communication plan.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate monitoring, evaluation and learning skills, including the ability to analyse research and evaluation findings and other information for internal and external audiences. They will also have experience of reporting to large institutional donors such as FCDO (formerly DFID), Sida, etc.
This role is based in Motivation office in Mukono, Uganda. It will involve reasonable travel within the Country and the region for meetings, trainings and project visits, when it is safe to do so.
