Personal assistant/legal

Minimum Qualification

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University / Institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.

Working Experience


The incumbent will be responsible to the Under Secretary for performing the following duties:-

–      Rendering Legal opinions on matters addressed to the Chairperson;

–      Preparing presentations and speeches under the direction of the Chairperson;

–      Carrying out Legal Research and preparing reports on the findings;

–      Following up on the complaints and recommendations from the public referred to the Directorate by the Office of the Chairperson for management;

–      Managing the Chairperson’s appointments, organising meetings and taking minutes during meetings;

–      Coordinating official visits, appointments, travel and preparing activity reports;

–      Supervising staff attached to the Office of the Chairperson;

–      Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
