Role overview

The Procurement Officer will be accountable for ensuring that all relevant procurement under the VSO Uganda are conducted in accordance with the VSO procurement rules and procedures and that of the organisation where the case maybe.

At least two years related experience
General understanding of procurement processes. Experience with NGO procurement processes is an added advantage
Knowledge of relevant procurement laws and regulations
Ability to prioritize tasks, work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility and willingness to travel to project locations
