Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator- Health & Nutrition is responsible for Overseeing and ensuring that all activities related to project are implemented in a timely and efficient manner according to the agreed Donor Guidelines, standards and budget, and provide leadership and coordination for all aspects related to the projects/ Programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Support to program development and planning
• Program management, monitoring and delivery of results
• Technical and operational support to program implementation
• Networking and partnership building
• Key Performance Objectives

Education and Experience
• Must have a Bachelor degree in Nutrition/Public Health, Food Science and Technology, others from an accredited higher institution of learning. Post graduate in any of the above field will be an added advantage
• Must have prior experience in implementing nutrition, food security, health and emergency interventions for at least 4 years with International Organizations or agencies.
• Good knowledge of project cycle management for health and nutrition projects
• Experience of community nutrition programming in Karamoja is of added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a multi-cultural context with basic resources.
• Experience in liaising with goverment officials, other NGOs, donors e.g. EU/ECHO, USAID/OFDA, DFID, UN (WFP and UNICEF) agencies and other corporate entities
