FH’s primary goal is to end all forms of poverty Worldwide. In Uganda, FH is operational in the Districts of Adjumani, Kitgum, Lamwo, Kween, Mbale, Namutumba and Amudat Districts implementing programs in four main sectors of Education; Food Security and Livelihoods; Health/Nutrition and Disaster Risk Reduction; with the Head office located in Kampala.

Job Title: Project Officer-Nutri-cash Project

Position Type: Full Time National Staff

Location: Adjumani Office

Reports to: Program Area Manager

Contract Length: 6 Months with possibility of extension depending on funds and performance

Start Date: 1st May, 2022

Position Summary:
The Project officer is responsible for effective and efficient delivery of the nutrition activities and cash based interventions of the Nutri-cash project. She will be responsible for initiating action in the areas of Cash Based Transfer (CBT), build capacity and provide orientation to cash transfer staff in the project. In addition to the specific duties outlined below, the project officer will be responsible for providing technical support and supervision to the Nutrition Assistant, health volunteers teams, M&E Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Project management and coordination
• Coordination and reporting
• Project monitoring and evaluation
• Performance management and supervision
• Project resource mobilization
• Documentation and reporting

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Food science and technology, development studies, humanities. Post-graduate degree is desirable.
• A significant (4-5 years) experience working with an INGO in positions of reporting and responsibility.
• Experience (3 years) developing and implementing integrated food security, health and nutrition projects.
• Experience with donor compliance and reporting, budgets and tracking of project resources
