We are looking for a suitable candidate to take on the Temporary role of Quality Assurance Officer. This position will maintain and assure the Sexual and Reproductive Health services quality standards within the PSIU franchise, partners and public health facilities and ensure compliance with the PSI Quality Assurance Plan.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION
- Plan for the implementation and lead the execution of all SRH quality assurance and improvement related activities in the identified region.
- Conduct regular coaching/support supervision/mentorship visits to service providers in the region to ensure quality and client safety during SRH service provision.
- Continuously monitor adherence to approved standard operational procedures and protocols, and data quality procedures and protocols by SRH service delivery points and providers.
- Monitor complications and adverse events resulting from PSIU supported SRH service delivery; and facilitate their timely management and reporting.
- Support/facilitate service delivery points in the region to maintain SRH productivity threshold.
- Increase demand for PSIU SRH commodities through medical detailing to identified partners in the region.
- Manage the supply chain including ordering, distribution and tracking of commodities, promotional products and IEC materials to service delivery points in the region.
- Advocate with districts and partners in the region for a collaborative engagement on quality SRH interventions.
- Prepare and submit periodic activity progress reports, learnings and best practices on all SRH interventions with a focus on QA/I.
THE BASICS
- Diploma in midwifery or Clinical medicine.
- Valid registration with a professional regulatory body.
- At least 3 years of experience with demonstrated ability to work with various partners including MoH, Local governments, CBOs and other NGOs.
- Experience working with private health providers in SRH service delivery is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in clinical services particularly SRH services.
- Vast knowledge and experience in Quality Improvement approaches in the Uganda Health care system.
- Computer literate with understanding of Microsoft word, excel, power Point and internet use.
