Position & Grade: Quality Assurance Officer

Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager-Systems & Processes

Summary Role: The Quality Assurance Officer promotes effective supervision of all
production halls attached to, ensure good manufacturing practices are adhered to, ensure
promotion of an innovative culture, ensure maximum productivity and efficiency is achieved.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

● Ensures compliance to good manufacturing practices.
● Analyse statistical data from production lines to identify quality problems.
● Analyse records of production returns to identify specific problems and the return
trends.
● Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
● Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.
● Document and evaluate internal and external audit findings and implement
corrective action.
● Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
● Validate quality processes.
● Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analysis, identifying critical
control points and preventive measures, establishing critical limits, monitoring
procedures, corrective actions.
● Participate in internal and external audits from regulatory bodies such as UNBS and
Government Analytical Lab.
● Supervise and train new quality control inspectors in GMP, company safety policies,
line inspection, and visual packaging procedures of finished products.
● Implement the Movit Eagle way by executing your duties in line with Quality, Speed,
Cost, Safety and People in order to establish the basis for Effective Problem Solving,
Continuous Improvement and Innovation; and
● Perform any other duties and responsibilities as maybe assigned from time to time by
the Supervisor.

Working Relationship and work Environment:

● Working with the entire staff and departments in Movit Products Limited;
● Maintain good relations with key associates and company external stakeholders;
● Office based and ability to manage urgent demands;
● Ability to meet deadlines and exhibit a high degree of flexibility and versatility;
● Ability to work in a team.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

● The ideal candidate for the Quality Assurance Officer position should hold a minimum
Bachelor’s degree in Science Technology Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry and or any
other Chemistry related course.
● 2 Years relevant experience in the FMCG environment or busy manufacturing setup.
● Awareness in occupational health & safety;
● Ability to work under pressure with minimum or no supervision and meet deadlines in
a fast-paced changing environment;
● Excellent interpersonal, communication, supervision, reporting and organization skills
with a high demonstrable level of integrity and confidentiality.
