RADIOGRAPHER
Reports To: Medical Director
JOB PURPOSE: To operate X-ray and Ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and results that aid in the diagnosis of various patient conditions.
Key Roles and responsibilities
- To provide pattern recognition image interpretation and basic clinical reports to all imaging tests performed in the department.
- Monitor the technical wellbeing of the equipment under your care and appraise management with regard to timely service and repair in case of any malfunction
- Abide by the National Atomic Energy Council recommendations and provide Leadership with regard to radiation safety of the patient, staff and general public
- Interpret images, provide clinical reports on all investigations carried out in the department.
- To carry out and supervise special investigation in the Radiological Department.
- Advise and recommend on appropriate imaging or therapeutic techniques for optimal patient care.
- Carry out administrative duties in the department.
- Ensure optimum delivery of service to patients and maintenance of professional and technical standards in the department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors in Medical Radiography
- Must be Registered with Allied Health Professionals’ Council
- Must have a valid Annual Practicing License
