Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Sales Director based in Kampala.
As a Sales Director, you will report directly to the Country General Manager.
Key Purpose Statement
Manage & Execute CCBA and CCBU’s long- and short-term sustainable revenue growth strategies, through excellent market execution and customer service
Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Development & Implementation of the Country’s business plan to meet and exceed targets.

- Full P&L responsibility.

- Provide leadership, coaching, and capability development programs to enable the sales regions to meet growth objectives.

- Performance manages regional employees to deliver business plans.

- Formulate and execute operating expenses and capital investment budgets.

- Develop & implement the fit for purpose Route to Market strategy including detailed Customer service Policies (CSP)

- Full responsibility for continuous improvement in CSI & operational excellence for the country

- Productive & efficient deployment of sales tools of the trade – coolers, iceboxes, and Trade DME.

- Develop & Execute channel and promotional execution strategies, including segmented PiCos and execution tracking.

- Develop and execute OBPPC strategy for the country.

- Build strong capability enabling the execution of a sophisticated portfolio.

- Build strong customer relationships and team capabilities to manage and develop global, regional, and national account customers.

- Develop and execute short- and long-term Revenue Growth Management Strategies

- Develop and implement a strong multiyear product innovation pipeline

- Build superior knowledge and understanding of the country market including shoppers, consumers, customers, categories, and competitors.

- Build strong relationships with local key stakeholders including but not limited to the government, media, and surrounding medium to large businesses

- Ensure alignment of business units within the extended value chain.

- All legal compliance elements and good governance practices are managed.

- Build the company’s reputation and drive behavior in the country that will ensure that the company’s reputation is not damaged.
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications

- Minimum requirement: Bachelor in a Business-related course

- Added advantage: An MBA is an added advantage
Experience

- 10+ years of Sales and Commercial experience

- Proven Senior Commercial experience

- Extensive experience in Sales Leadership in FMCG
