SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVES
Golden Crane Hotel is a sister company to International Medical Link. It has Hotels in Mukono and Isingiro District offering hotel, conference and other hospitability services.
We are looking for a qualified and most experienced person to fill the position of Sales Executive.

Post:     Sales Executive
Positions:         Two (02) Posts Based in Kampala and Isingiro (West Uganda)
Reporting to:    The General Manager Golden Crane Hotels

 JOB DESCRIPTION/ KEY ROLES

  • To prospect and generate sales opportunities for the Hotels among various categories of customers.
  • Propose and implement innovative ways of marketing for the hotels.
  • Organize/participate in the planned marketing activities and events of the hotels including market research, designing adverts, online marketing platforms among others.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders in the Hospitality Industry to close businesses and effectively manage sales accounts to achieve client satisfaction.
  • Prepare competitive well organized bids/business proposals to qualified prospective organizations/customers.

Academic Qualifications

  1. At least minimum of a diploma in Marketing or any other specialty.
  2. A professional certificate or qualification in Marketing and Sales is a strong added advantage. Candidates who apply without one of these requirements will not be shortlisted.

Relevant Work Experience

  1. Relevant work experience in Hospitality Company mainly a hotel or similar business is a strong added advantage.

Special Skills and Personal Traits Required:

  1. The candidates must demonstrate competence and capability to be innovative, self-directed, and agile in their work.
  2. Must have a personality inclined to easily interact with people to create business opportunities.
  3. Evident analytical, writing, presentation skills using fluency in English.
  4. Practical computer skills in Microsoft office suites are a must.
  5. Ability to work in a busy and demanding work under pressure
  6. Ability to work both independently and as an admirable team player.

Specific Limitations:

  1. Age Limit: must be between 25-40 years
