Sales Executive (Smart Friend).

Reports to: Branch Manager/ DFS Supervisor

Job purpose:


The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and usage of the digital services to include, Digital signups/ Uptake for the Mobile App, Smart Pocket, customer training on the services and value proposition, usage of the digital financial services.


Key Result Areas:

  • Drive sales and onboarding of Mobile App, Smart Pocket, Rapid transfer services as priority, ATM, Agent Banking
  • Work closely with branch and DFS head office team for Market leads and field activations against set target
  • Daily sales reports to line manager and Head office DFS team.
  • Develop relationships and generate leads with potential partners and institutions and oversee the sales and digital on-boarding process.
  • Keeping up to date with the marketing trends, competition in the financial sector and identify improvements and recommendations to the DFS Supervisor.
  • Provide guidance and training to all customers and attend client interactive meetings.
  • Advise on the development of unique marketing and sales tactics required for the channels
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales
  • Timely resolve customer queries
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable organization
  • 3 to 6 Months experience in sales and marketing.
  • Must possess a Credit pass in Maths and English at ‘O’ Level

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Commercial awareness of DFS and innovations

  • Ability to demonstrate creativity in Sales and Marketing
  • Suggesting new areas of customer acquisition and revenue on the channel’s side.
