Key duties and responsibilities

  • Assist in managing customer inquiries and provide accurate information about flight schedules, fares, and services.
  • Process bookings, reservations, and ticketing transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with airline partners to secure flight availability and negotiate special rates.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze data, and provide insights to the sales team.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and ensure accurate records are kept.
  • Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collaterals and promotional materials.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, airline policies, and market conditions.
  • Provide administrative support such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing sales presentations.
  • Plan and implement sales activities to ensure targets are reached and recorded.
  • Analyze the market’s potential to determine the value of existing and prospective customers in terms of sales opportunities.
  • Collect, review, and consolidate information to support the identification of intervention areas to ensure sales target achievement.
  • Cooperate with marketing and PR to determine the best promotion sales techniques
  • Communicate and regularly meet with area intermediaries to inform them about new products and promotions to ensure the best and most updated value proposal is timely communicated to the market
  • Represent UR at all Trade events recognized as of interest to the company, carry out training products, seminars for Corporate Accounts, and TMC’s accompanying Familiarization Trips.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree combined with 3+ years of experience in a sales environment, preferably in the Airline, Travel, or Hospitality industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry trends and customers’ requirements, with a proven track record in meeting and over-achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proven experience in sales support or customer service in the airline industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of airline reservation systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing bookings and transactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends or outside regular office hours when required.
