The organisation is seeking  to recruit and fill the position of Social Media Manager/Community Manager who will responsible for overseeing a company’s interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms’ content strategies. Their main duties will include but not limited to analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online. They will be the professional voice for the company across social all channels.

The ideal candidate must have proven work experience as a Social media manager with the ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video), analytical with good multitasking skills. This individual must have a good business acumen, creative and innovative with a good understanding of the market and the client’s dynamics especially in the beverage space.

He /she must be on top of the latest digital marketing trends with a good understanding of the  creative process that provides creative content that engages with the target  customers and audience

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The job holder will be responsible for;

  • Develop and execute strategic monthly content community management plan for the client
  • Execute the content plan on the client’s digital platforms
  • Develop modern innovative ways to drive engagement and curate content
  • Provide reporting on project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans; be proactive in identifying and resolving or escalating issues and conflicts. Set up, monitor, and report on community KPIs, driving and demonstrating overall value.
  • Manage contractor support as needed for projects, such as curating content ideas, sourcing creators, onboarding and guiding a team of content developers.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Basic qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working at the intersection of content creation and social media and community management
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects in various stages of the product development cycle
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Aptitude for tech and collaborative / co-working digital tools such as Google Drive, Trello etc
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven track record communicating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in different parts of an organization
  • Experience (creating or working with) modern content creation i.e Tik Tok, Reels etc
  • Good copywriting skills
  • Basic proficiency with graphic design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop
