ICYD – Social Protection & Livelihoods Coordinators – Uganda
Social Protection & Livelihood services under ICYD are made up of a strategic mix of economic strengthening, parenting (Sinovuyo model), early childhood development and HIV/GBV prevention services (Journeys Plus). Economic strengthening will anchor the social protection package which will be layered with case management and a strategic mix of parenting, Journeys prevention, and early childhood development informed by care plans for ICYD enrolled families.
The Zonal Social Protection Coordinator will coordinate delivery of TA to National Partners to deliver integrated social protection services to families enrolled in OVC comprehensive case management as well delivery of standalone Prevention services at community level. The ES/Social Protection Coordinator The Zonal ES/SP Coordinator will take direction from the National Team and work in close collaboration with the Zonal Institutional Development, Case Management, Operations, M&E and Education teams to ensure a coordinated TA service delivery and systems strengthening approach, supporting NPs to strengthen and expand partnerships with other district and community, FBO and private sector stakeholders to expand access to ES/SP services.
