Stores Assistant

Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

The applicable candidate must have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

1. Diploma in Procurement and Supply or Purchasing and Logistics

2. At least 2 years’ experience as a Store Assistant

3. Ability to multi-task; work under pressure; good customer care

4. Competent IT skills

5. A mature and practicing Christian who upholds the University’s Core values and Instruments of Identity

Key Competencies & Responsibilities:

1. Track deliveries

2. Oversee inventory/storage of products

3. Coordinate regular inventory audits

4. Maintain up to date store records

5. Prepare reports on purchases, pricing, stock, and issuance

6. Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking of running out-of-stock

7. Any other official duties that may assign be assigned by the supervisor
