Study Coordinator – Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration (IDRC)

The Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration (IDRC) seeks to hire a suitable candidate to fill the position of Study Coordinator for the P4P trial. The successful candidate will report to the Principal Investigator.

Purpose of the Position:

The Study Coordinator will be responsible for implementation of the P4P trial. Job description

1. Participate in study monitoring, coordinate data collection, and follow up of study participants.

2. Coordinate with peer mentors for PrEP delivery activities with Key populations.

3. Conduct routine data quality assurance (DQA) together with Study Coordinator.

4. Participate in project data and performance reviews as required with the study team.

5. Ensure field activities and management procedures have set timelines and meet established deadlines.

6. Plan and organize stakeholder engagement meetings and coordinate field activities.

Qualifications and other desirables for the job:

1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related degree.

2. A master’s degree in public health will be an added advantage.

3. Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a research setting.

4. Ability to engage project stakeholders.

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

6. ICT skills including use of Microsoft office Apps will be an added advantage.
