To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students of the MIHS School of Medical Laboratory Technology to fully develop skills and fulfil their academic potential. The job holder will work as part of the team to ensure that the curriculum, as set by the Ministry of Education and Sports, is delivered at the set standards and that examination are conducted in line with the Uganda Allied Health Professionals Examinations body guidelines and procedures. The expected result is well natured students that demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and academic excellence.
A Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Sciences; Plus a post graduate diploma in medical education or Diploma in Education. He/she must be registered with the allied health professionals’ council with a valid APL.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Tutor in a Medical Laboratory Technology School Or 3 years’ experience in a busy Medical laboratory.
She/he should also have experience/knowledge of relevant MOH/MOES guidelines and policies, as well as ability to network and liaise with various partners.
