UNDP Volunteer Roles ( 10) : Volunteer Online Community Communication and Administration Support

This is an online volunteer opportunity with the UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (IICPSD) in Türkiye. The role is focused on supporting the Frontier Tech Leaders Programme’s Python Training Team.

Key Details

• Role: Community communication and administrative support for the Machine Learning Bootcamp.
• Hours: 16-20 hours per week.
• Duration: 3 weeks.
• Number of Positions: 10.
• Goal: The project contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).

Your Responsibilities

You will be part of a team supporting a live training program and will be responsible for a specific set of tasks. Your duties will include:

Support the team throughout the Machine Learning Bootcamp.

-Support FTL Community Trainings and volunteer teams.

-Moderate live 20-30 training sessions (Evening sessions during the weekdays and morning sessions on the weekend).

-Support the FTL community by communicating with the members via Discord, WhatsApp and other channels.

-Support FTL team to contact students.

-Track student progress.

-Collect homework and projects.

Eligibility

The ideal volunteer has:

• Experience in community organizing.
• Familiarity with tools like Discord, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• A background as a senior-year student or a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Social Sciences or Computer Science is preferred.
• Knowledge of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence is a bonus.
