UNICEF Evaluation is inviting passionate and motivated young people aged 18 to 25 to join the Youth Advisory Group (YAG)—a unique volunteer opportunity to actively contribute to the UNICEF Global Evaluation Evidence Synthesis 2023–2024. This global initiative examines what works—and what doesn’t—across UNICEF programs aimed at improving the lives of children and youth worldwide.
This is a rare chance for young people to directly influence how evidence is collected, analyzed, and applied in international development. The goal is to ensure that youth voices, perspectives on equity, inclusion, and community insights are at the heart of UNICEF’s evaluation process.
About the Global Evaluation Evidence Synthesis
The Global Evaluation Evidence Synthesis 2023–2024 builds on earlier reviews to assess the impact, effectiveness, and relevance of UNICEF’s work across areas such as health, education, child protection, water and sanitation, and emergency response.
By bringing together findings from evaluation reports across UNICEF country offices, the synthesis informs programming, policies, and investment decisions at the global level. This cycle places special emphasis on youth participation and inclusive evaluation methods.
The Role of the Youth Advisory Group
