Habitat for Humanity Uganda’s Mission is to work with others to find lasting solutions to poverty housing in the country. Our Vision is a Uganda where everyone has a decent place to live. We are proud to be affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International a global housing ministry that is seeking to address urgent housing needs in over 80 countries across the world. Over the last 10 years, Habitat for Humanity Uganda has rehabilitated and constructed over 24,000 houses, transforming over 144,000 lives across the country. Our country program has 5 field offices located in Kumi, Mayuge, Lugazi, Luweero, and Fort portal.
Summary of the Volunteer Role:
We are recruiting two volunteers to be part of the process of rejuvenating our volunteer initiatives in the country. The Volunteers will provide support to the organization in the implementation of various activities including community-based activities, finance-related activities, resource mobilization, and fundraising activities, records and archive management, and maintenance of a clean, healthy, and attractive work environment at HFHU.
The ideal candidate for the Habitat for Humanity Uganda (HFHU) Volunteer job opportunity should preferably be a fresh University graduate and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Business Administration, Communications and Public Relations, Marketing and Business Studies, Urban Development and Housing and or any other related field.
