Key, Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provide technical guidance on mechanical services; 2. Design building mechanical services; 3. Prepare conceptual and detailed designs; 4. Supervise construction of building mechanical services projects; 5. Inspect building mechanical services projects within time & budget; 6. Prepare and study contract documents for mechanical building services projects; 7. Study the mechanical components of buildings and make recommendations on renovations or disposal if they are beyond repair; 8. Attend site meetings and approve Payment Certificates; 9. Supervise water meter installations, meter readings and billing process for water; 10. Curb illegal water connections; 11. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Required Qualifications 1. Honors Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 2. Must be a member of Uganda Institute of Professional Engineers; 3. Must be a registered engineer with valid practicing license from Engineers Registration Board. Experience Three (3) years relevant, working experience. Skills/Competences 1. Good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills; 2. Proficient in using relevant computer packages; 3. Team work and team building; 4.
